Woodburn Concrete, woodburnconcrete.com, hello@woodburnconcrete.com
What this policy covers
This policy explains what information Woodburn Concrete collects when you visit our website, call us or ask for an estimate, and what we do with it. We're a concrete contractor in Woodburn, OR, and we work on driveways, patios, slabs and other concrete jobs for homeowners in Woodburn and the cities around it.
It applies to our home page and every other page on this site, and to the information you share with us by phone, by email or through our contact form. If you have a question it doesn't answer, our contact page has every way to reach us.
Information you give us
Most of what we know about you is what you choose to tell us when you ask for an estimate or send a question. That usually includes your name, phone number, email address, the address of the job and a description of the work, such as a cracked driveway or a new patio.
You may also send photos of the area, notes about timing or other details that help us understand the job. We only ask for what we need to reply and to quote the work, so please don't send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details through the form or by email.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type into it is collected and stored by that service and then sent to us. That service handles your information under its own privacy terms as well as this policy.
Information collected automatically, including cookies
Like most websites, ours collects some basic information on its own when you visit. That can include your browser type, the kind of device you're using, the pages you look at, how long you stay, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your internet address.
Some of this comes from cookies, which are small files your browser stores so a site can remember a visit or count how many people use a page. We may use analytics tools that rely on cookies to see which pages are useful and which ones people leave quickly, so we can improve the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do, although some features, like the contact form, may not behave as smoothly.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to you, schedule an estimate, prepare a quote and, if you hire us, plan and do the work. We may also call or email you about your job, such as to confirm a date, talk through the pour or follow up after it's done.
We use the automatic information to keep the site running, fix problems and understand which pages help people find what they need. We may also use any of it when the law requires us to, or to protect our business, our crew and our customers from fraud or misuse.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the people and services that help us run the business. That includes the form service behind our contact form, the company that hosts our website, analytics providers and the tools we use for email, scheduling and invoicing.
Those providers can use your information only to do that work for us. We may also share it if a court, a government office or the law requires it, or if the business is ever sold or reorganized, in which case this policy would still apply to what we already hold.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to answer questions, honor our work and keep the business records the law expects of us. If you asked for an estimate and didn't hire us, we keep your details only as long as they're useful for following up on that request.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the parts that identify you. Analytics data is usually kept in summary form, so it shows how the site is used without pointing to any one person.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable steps to keep your information safe, such as limiting who can see it and using services that protect data in transit and in storage. No website or email system is completely secure, though, so we can't promise that information sent online will never be seen by someone it wasn't meant for.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we'll do that, other than messages we need to send about a job that's already underway.
Depending on the state you live in, including Oregon, the law may give you more rights over your personal information. We'll honor any request the law allows, and we may need to confirm who you are before we act on it so we don't hand your details to someone else.
To make a request, reach us through the contact page or call (971) 772-3554. We'll reply within 1 business day to let you know we received it.
Children's privacy
Our website is meant for adults arranging concrete work on a home or property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Links to other sites
Our pages may link to other websites, such as a city permit office or a product maker. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn't cover what they collect, so it's worth reading their policies before you share anything there.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. When we do, the new version will be posted on this page, and it applies from the day it's posted.
How to raise a privacy concern
If something about how we've handled your information worries you, tell us and we'll look into it. You can send a message through our contact page or call (971) 772-3554, and we'll reply within 1 business day.
You can learn more about who we are and how we work on our About page.
